The Habit Control Mini-Mold is an immediate solution for treating a thumb sucking habit. The mold creates a resin “cone” on the lingual surface of the upper or lower incisors. There is no need for a lab fabricated tongue crib which requires an impression and an extra appointment for insertion plus lab costs

The technique is simple. Fill the mold with resin, place in on the tooth to be bonded and cure. The tip of the resin cone can be trimmed as needed. On subsequent appointments, the tips of the resin cones can be shortened as the habit problem is resolved.
